Theater Talk - "Frozen" songwriters; plus The Broadway League president Charlotte St. Martin

Academy Award-winning composer-lyricists Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez discuss transforming their 2013 megahit, Disney Animation's "Frozen," into a new celebrated Broadway musical, adding a dozen new songs and a number of new insights on the characters as well. Elisabeth Vincentelli co-hosts with Susan Haskins.

Next, President of The Broadway League, Charlotte St. Martin, talks about the numerous responsibilities in her position wrangling producers all over the world. She also discusses preparing for the 2018 Tony Awards and Broadway Bridges - the initiative to give every New York City public high school student the opportunity to see a Broadway show before graduation. Actress Julie Halston guest co-hosts with Susan Haskins.

Theater Talk is a series devoted to the world of the stage. It began on New York television in 1993 and is hosted by series producer Susan Haskins and a revolving team of prominent guest co-hosts from the world of the theater.

The program premieres on CUNY TV weekly and is also one of the few independent productions on PBS where it airs weekly on Thirteen/WNET in New York. It is also syndicated nationally to over 60 urban markets across the USA. The series is jointly produced by Theater Talk Productions and CUNY TV, both not-for-profit corporations and is funded by contributions from private foundations and individuals, as well as The New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
